About

From Muskegon, MI. At home everywhere.

Nick found his love for the arts early in life. He began training and performing with Mona Shores Public Schools and with Muskegon Civic Theater at the historic Frauenthal Center. In his teenage years, Nick began to pursue a career in dance and began training at the Grand Rapids Ballet School and Spotlight Dance Academy.

Nick attended Oberlin College and Conservatory on scholarship where he had the pleasure of double majoring in Dance Performance and Theater (Acting). With nothing but a dream and a lead on a restaurant job, Nick moved to Chicago to find his path.

Nick’s performing career began dancing for Kristina Isabelle Dance Company and apprenticing with Cocodaco Dance Project under Ronn Stewart and David Maurice. Nick then danced for Mordine and Company Dance Theater for its 50th Anniversary season under Shirley Mordine.

After spending time pursuing concert dance, Nick missed the world of theater and shifted his focus to include more acting and singing. Nick quickly booked jobs including Moby Dick (Chicago Opera Theater at the Harris), A Chorus Line (Metropolis PAC), F***G Men (Pride Films and Plays), Dante’s Inferno (Notre Dame Opera).

Nick was in the thick of auditioning when the Covid-19 pandemic halted the performing arts industry. He used his time training at Green Shirt Acting Studio, Chicago Actors Studio and Visceral Dance Center.

Nick made his return to the stage playing Mark in A Chorus Line under Hector Guerrero at the stunning (and enormous) Moonlight Stage Amphitheater near San Diego, CA. Nick returned to Chicago to play Chip in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (JPAC) and finished off 2021 in A Christmas Carol (Metropolis). Nick works and trains at Visceral Dance Center, where he danced with the company in their WITHIN program.

Nick loves swimming in Lake Michigan, Bluegrass and Jam bands, and cooking.
